Population pyramid is a graphical illustration that shows the structure of population by sex and age groups. It is constructed by using the mid-year population estimates, calculated on the basis of the population census results, as well as based on the results of population natural and mechanical changes statistics (internal migration). The data are available for the period since 1991.

On the interactive graph, by selecting the area on the map or by selecting an option for the territory of the Republic of Serbia, the population structure in percentages according to five-year age groups is presented. By positioning on any bar on the graph, the data on the number of population (absolute value) for the selected sex and age group and percentage share in the total population are also displayed.
