The European Commission, through the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN), awarded a direct grant to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia within the framework of the Joint Harmonised EU Programme of Business and Consumer Surveys.
Business and Consumer Surveys are conducted in all EU Member States with the aim of obtaining qualitative information on the current business situation, as well as forecasting short-term developments in the activities of economic entities.
According to the DG ECFIN methodology, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia will conduct, on a monthly basis, five surveys covering the following sectors:
• Construction survey
• Industry survey
• Retail trade survey<
• Services survey
• Consumer survey
