External trade statistics processes and publishes data on  international trade of goods of the Republic of Serbia in  monthly dynamics, in accordance with international standards and recommendations. Indicators show the development of general economic and trade policy, present the basis for defining a commercial strategy for importers and exporters and establishing material balances for strategic products, serve as an important source for national accounts and balance of payments statistics. The main source of data is the Customs Administration of the Republic of Serbia, and regarding electricity, it is Elektromreža Srbije.
