AGREEMENT - Improving cooperation between the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
 
The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia today signed an agreement on cooperation between the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
 
Signatories to the Agreement, Ms. Dragana Markovic, Director of the Tax Administration and Dr. Miladin Kovacevic, director of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia agreed that cooperation will contribute to improving the exchange of data from administrative records that are the responsibility of these institutions.
 
The agreement, which is adapted to new changes in the tax system, represents a step forward in the modernization of official statistics on the way to harmonization with the methodology and practice of the European Union in terms of increased use of administrative data for statistical purposes.
 
The meeting was attended by senior representatives of both institutions.
