Within project “Strengthening the Serbian statistical system by upgrading methodologies and standards and by appliance of good practice” and component “Upgrade the ICT System - Creating the SDMX – RI platform”, the first training regarding using SDMX tools was organized. The training was held in the period from 06 -08. June 2017.

In the cooperation with Division for System development for data collection and dissemination, in the training room of Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, experts from Statistic of Italy (ISTAT), Francesco Rizzo и Luca Gramigni held the training. Participants were statisticians, IT specialist of Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, and employees from National Bank of Serbia, responsible for data reporting to international institutions (such as Eurostat) in SDMX format. During these three days, participants had an opportunity to acquaint with SDMX standard, tools which SDMX community use and go through practical exercises. All exercises are phases in data preparation for sending international institutions in SDMX format.

Within the project, Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia will organize the second training at the end of July.
