In the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the meetings were held with the representatives of state institutions and media on the occasion of changing the data sources and the methodology for calculating average salaries and wages.

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia will, starting from 2018, calculate average salaries and wages on the basis of Tax Administration data. Due to transition to new data source and new methodology, monthly releases on average salaries and wages will be published 55 days after the end of the month to which the salaries and wages refer.
