The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia issued the publication "Business activities of enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, by ownership types, 2017-2018" by Milan Burzanović.

By continuing overall statistical monitoring of enterprises in accordance with international standards, the focus of the publication is, this time, moved from data presentation by enterprises’ size to another viewpoint, i.e. to monitoring of business activities’ results by enterprises’ ownership types, also including the capital origin.    

From the mentioned new aspect, the author Milan Burzanović in this publication “Business activities of enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, by ownership types, 2017-2018” also presents significant number of macroeconomic indicators for the enterprises that performed business activities during the observed period. Certain new indicators, not included in the last years’ publication “Enterprises by size and unincorporated enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, 2015-2017”, are now presented as the result of particular users’ interest expressed in the meanwhile.

All selected indicators are presented in the tables of the publication to the level of sections of Classification of Activities (2010), and territorially, to the level of regions according to the Nomenclature of statistical territorial units.

Promotion of the publication, held on March 12th, 2020 in the conference hall of SORS, was attended by guests from various ministries and scientific institutions and media representatives. The audience was addressed by prof. Dr Miladin Kovačević, Director of SORS, Dušan Gavrilović, Assistant Director and Milan Burzanović, author of the publication.
