For the eighth time in a row - this year under the slogan "Statistics for better development in a fast-changing world" - October 20 is the European Day of Statistics. 

Rapid changes are, in all spheres, the biggest challenge facing modern society. The European Statistics Day reminds us of the importance and role that reliable and objective statistical data play in response to social challenges, as well as the role they play in economic development, fight against misinformation and in decision-making.
