Number of transported passengers in the first six months of 2024, relative to the same period 2023, increased by 5.2%, whereof number of passengers in domestic transport increased by 4.4% and in international transport, by 12.7%. In air transport, increase of 11.1% was recorded, while in road transport, it increased by 2.9%. Referring to passengers in railway transport, increase of 19.7% was noted. Operations volume, expressed in pkm, increased by 10.1%. Goods transported in the first half of 2024 increased by 3.0%, relative to the same period 2023. Regarding the same period, expressed in tkm, operations volume increased by 3.2%. Air transport and road transport recorded increase in quantity of transported goods, while inland waterway, pipeline and railway transport noted decrease.
