On December 18, the Statistical Office of the Republic Serbia  held an engaging online meeting via videoconference with the Statistical Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  

This important event marked another step forward in strengthening international cooperation in the field of official statistics.

The meeting brought together leading experts from both organizations.

Representing the Uzbekistan delegation the meeting was attended by:

   Ulugbek Noipov, Head of the International Cooperation and Information Exchange Department

   Shahboz Janadilov, Head of Information and Cybersecurity;

   Zoyir Yuldashev, Head of Demography, Labor, and Gender Statistics and

   Shohrukh Odilov from the Digital Technologies and Interactive Services Development Department.

From Serbia, the meeting was attended by representatives from Department for the dissemination and integration of administrative sources  and Department for development.

The discussions were dynamic and forward-looking, focusing on key areas of collaboration, including the application of CAPI technology for data collection, the integration of digital innovations in statistical production, and system-level improvements for managing and distributing statistical data.

This meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing statistical practices through mutual exchange and cooperation.

Plans were outlined to strengthen partnerships, foster knowledge-sharing, and implement cutting-edge digital solutions in the field of official statistics.

Statistical Office of the Republic Serbia looks forward to future initiatives that will drive progress and innovation in statistical methodologies.
