A delegation of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia visited the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO). The delegation consisted of acting director Branko Josipović, assistant director of the Department for the dissemination and integration of administrative sources Olja Musić, and acting assistant director of the Development department Nevena Mitrović.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the President of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office Áron Kincses and representatives of HCSO. The visit included presentations on the mandates, organizational structures, and current activities of both institutions, with particular emphasis on the digitalization of statistical processes, the application of artificial intelligence, the improvement of dissemination models, data visualization, and the development of decision‑support systems.

A significant part of the visit was dedicated to establishing deeper and sustainable bilateral cooperation between the two institutions. The thematic sessions explored opportunities for joint initiatives and further strengthening of institutional capacities in areas of mutual interest.

The visit was conducted in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere, reaffirming the mutual commitment to improving the quality of official statistics through enhanced international cooperation.
