The overall external trade in the Republic of Serbia for the period January-December 2025 amounted to:

   - USD 84554.6 million - which was an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year;

   - EUR 74935.9 million - which was an increase of 7.7% compared to the same period last year.

In May 2026, the number of 2 329 building permits was issued, presenting the increase of 4.6% when compared to May 2025. Out of the total number of permits issued in May 2026, 81.9% related to buildings, and 18.1% to civil engineering constructions. When only buildings are concerned, 81.6% of permits related to residential buildings, and 18.4% to non–residential ones, while regarding civil engineering constructions the largest number related to pipelines, communication and electric power lines (77.2%).

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in May 2026, compared to the same month of 2025 were decreased by 4.3% average.

Prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in June 2026 in relation to May 2026 increased by 0.2% on average. 

The total number of crime reports against juvenile perpetrators of criminal offences in 2025 was 2 743, i.e. increase by 1% relative to 2024. 1 993 motions for pronouncing sanctions were submitted, i.e. increased by 13%, while number of sentenced juveniles was 1 495, i.e. increase of 9% relative to 2024.

In the Republic of Serbia, in 2025, the procedure upon criminal reports was completed for 69 641 adult perpetrators of criminal offenses, which is by 5% less than in 2024. 22 498 adult persons were convicted, which is by 9% less when compared to the previous year.

In 2025, in the Republic of Serbia, there were 29 402 marriages, a decrease of 3.2% relative to the previous year. At the same time, 24 309 concluded first marriages indicate a decrease of 2.8% when compared to 2024. The number of marriages per 1 000 population amounted to 4.5. The average age at the time of marriage for grooms was 34.4 and for brides 31.4 years.

In 2025, in the Republic of Serbia, there were 10 148 divorces, i.e. by 4.4% less than in the previous year. The number of divorces per 1 000 population was 1.5. The average age for husbands at divorce was 45.6 and for wives 42.1 years.

In 2025 there were 134 611 persons who changed residence, i.e. moved permanently from one to another place (settlement) in the Republic of Serbia. The average age of persons who changed residence was 36.4 years (36.7 for men and 36.1 for women).
